Digital Canada Mission - Toronto
I traveled to Toronto to dive into the latest advancements in AI. Toronto’s role as a tech and entrepreneurial hub made it the perfect place to engage with leading organizations like MaRS Discovery District, Ontario Creates, the Vector Institute... This experience solidified my passion for driving innovation and collaboration in global tech ecosystems.
Lithuania's InMuse 2025
Invited speaker at the international InMuse Forum exploring the future of AI and creativity in music and digital ecosystems. I shared Wallonia’s experience in bridging traditional, cultural and tech sectors through initiatives like CrossTechXperience and wake!, and explored new Horizon Europe opportunities rooted in creative policy, Europe-Canada collaboration, and human-centered innovation.
Creative Industries Workshop
Co-led a dynamic workshop on the digital creativity ecosystem in Wallonia, covering funding, training, research, emerging tech, and internationalization. Engaged with ICC entrepreneurs hosted by Wallonie Entreprendre and B3 Liège, fostering cross-sector dialogue and actionable insights for innovation-driven growth.
North of France's PIX Festival
Represented the wake! by Digital Wallonia ecosystem at PIX25, highlighting the Interreg CrossTechXperience project. Showcased how immersive tech, gaming, and MusicTech can enhance SME competitiveness through cross-border collaboration. Engaged with leading actors from France and Wallonia to explore policy, industry, and training synergies in the Creative Industries.
InCyber Europe 2025
Participated in the InCyber Forum as part of the Interreg Open Badges for IT project. Promoted the use of micro-credentialing in cybersecurity training to address IT talent shortages and enhance employability. Presented a pilot initiative, in collaboration with EU partners, to recognize skills through Open Badges and foster cross-border alignment between training, workforce needs, and digital inclusion.
CrossTechXperience Hackathon
Designed and led a cross-border hackathon exploring the transformative power of immersive, interactive, and gaming technologies for real-world challenges (tourism, training, inclusion...). Engaged 30+ multidisciplinary students to prototype solutions for major companies (Decathlon, ADEO...). This initiative showcased how digital innovation and collective intelligence can drive strategic value and impact beyond tech. Three prototypes are now moving into further development.
Women in Tech
Participated in Agoria’s Women in Tech breakfast to promote diversity and inclusion in the tech sector. Contributed to discussions on building equitable innovation ecosystems, where diverse perspectives drive creativity and societal impact. Reinforced commitment to inclusive leadership and gender equity in digital transformation.
Les lundis IA
I was a guest on the 'Les Lundis IA' stream with Laura Durieux, #DevGirl, on RTBF iXPÉ. During the stream, I discussed the importance of innovation in Artificial Intelligence for transforming our approaches to global challenges, inclusive projects, strategic partnerships, and digital creativity in both creative and traditional industries.
CrossTechXperience
I established the partnership for a Europe Interreg grant for the CrosstechXperience project (€3.6M), which I launched with partners from Wallonia, Flanders, and France. My role includes organizing the project’s events, promoting the project, creating its branding, and developing the strategy for the adoption of interactive, immersive, and gaming technologies within businesses.
wake!
I contribute to the wake! ecosystem, an initiative of Digital Wallonia led by KIKK, aimed at promoting and supporting digital creativity in Wallonia. I focus on mapping, animating, and federating the digital Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) sector in Wallonia, while facilitating skill development for the ecosystem's actors through awareness-raising activities, networking opportunities, and the enhancement of training offerings.
RTBF Media Coaching
I participated in a Media Coaching at RTBF in Brussels, which was a powerful experience in building confidence. It was an essential step in asserting my voice as a woman in STEAM fields, where simplifying complex topics is key. The coaching provided valuable tools to effectively communicate my expertise in digital innovation, while also helping me better understand media expectations.
GirlsConnect
As part of GirlsConnect, I helped launch a dedicated training program for women, combining both online and in-person sessions to empower participants with the digital skills they need. The hybrid program included hands-on training in digital tools, personalized coaching on essential soft skills, and workshops as networking opportunities to raise awareness about technology. The initiative aimed to support women in realizing their projects, and provide them with the resources to thrive in tech.
Hack AI
During my Hands on AI University Certificate's courses at UMONS, I participated in HackIA'24, an intense 2-day hackathon dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. The event combined technical challenges and hands-on workshops. Our team was thrilled to win the HackIA'24 Innovation Award.
This experience deepened my technical skills and highlighted the role of AI as a key tool for innovation. It also reinforced the importance of knowing when to leverage traditional data management technologies.
Inspiration Session
Organized and facilitated focus groups for companies to articulate their needs and challenges in areas such as human resources, operational processes, sustainability, and innovation. The workshop explored how XR (eXtended Reality) and gaming technologies could address these issues. Led roundtable discussions to foster collaboration and idea-sharing, culminating in the identification and definition of prototypes to develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific challenges.
Women in Digital Summit
At the Women in Digital Summit, I moderated the panel on "How to attract and train more diverse profiles?". We highlighted the critical need to ensure that women have a strong presence in the tech industry. The conversation emphasized that, while progress is being made, there is still work to be done to inspire and support young women in tech.
Open Badges for IT
After securing the partnership and funding, we launched the Open Badges for IT project (€2.7M), part of the Interreg France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen initiative, alongside an inspiring consortium of partners. This project aims to tackle the IT skills gap by developing a flexible and standardized certification system using OpenBadges. I focus on testing open badges within IT training for job seekers, involving companies, learners, and trainers. It's an opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions for the workforce development in the tech sector.
Girls in ICT
I promote the inclusion of women in technology sectors by developing innovative training programs. This includes organizing workshops, roundtables, and events such as the 'Girls in ICT Day', to raise awareness about access to education and technical careers, as well as broader inclusion efforts. My goal is to empower women to pursue opportunities in technology and create an inclusive environment where diverse talents can thrive.
Game Developers Conference
At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, I spoke at the session "Les processus d’apprentissage au prisme des jeux vidéo : regards croisés francophones". Organized by the Alliance Française, in collaboration with AWEX USA and the Quebec Government Representation in Silicon Valley, this event highlighted the importance of the gaming sector in the Francophone ecosystem. Together with experts we explored exciting cross-border projects and discussed the new frontiers of innovation and creativity in the gaming industry.
AI + TECH
For those still uncertain about AI, this AI + Tech event I co-hosted, demonstrated through real-life examples how generative AI tools can ease our workload, allowing us to focus on our core business while unlocking new forms of creativity, innovation, and competitiveness. Key topics included digital marketing, creative strategy, AI regulations, intellectual property, and the development potential for businesses in the creative industries.
Google Women TechMakers
At the #ImpactTheFuture event, organized by Google Women Techmakers Brussels, I presented initiatives aimed at increasing female participation in ICT and Creative Industries, alongside inspiring women. The event provided enriching discussions on inclusion, diversity, and concrete actions to support women in tech.
Conférence - débat IMPACT!
I had the honor of participating in the IMPACT! Conference at the University of Namur, organized by the Faculty of Computer Science and ALMIN. As part of a roundtable alongside inspiring figures like Yves Pigneur, Annick Castiaux, David Dab, and Roald Sieberath, we discussed how innovation can be amplified through collaboration between businesses, education, and policymakers. Covering this topic, "Facilitating innovation through collaboration across generations and sectors", was a great opportunity to highlight how synergies can drive digital and creative innovation.
Woman in Tech of the Day (01.31)
Incredibly grateful to have been featured as Belgium's "Woman in Tech of the Day" on January 31st, as part of Agoria's 365WomenInTech campaign. It means so much to me! This recognition is a reflection of the amazing women who have supported and inspired me throughout my career. Their support fuels my passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
